Mark Fischbach, better known as his online personality, Markiplier, is coming back to the YouTube Original space. Boasting interactivity, fans will be able to choose the way in the new YouTube Original, A Heist with Markiplier.
A Heist with Markiplier allows you, the viewer, to go on a heist with Mark in an attempt to steal a mysterious item. This is seen as a follow-up to a Valentine’s Day special he put up back in 2017. In the Valentine’s Day video, the video played in a first-person perspective with short, minute-long videos giving the viewer two options at the end of each section.
A Heist with Markiplier is in the same vein with the viewer seemingly in control with what happens next. How this will play out has yet been disclosed, but it will likely be exactly like Mark’s dating video, but with a vastly different plot and budget.
According to TubeFilter, the YouTube Original encompasses 61 videos with a total of 31 endings. Rooster Teeth is also aiding in the production of the Markiplier-led project with Matt Hullum, Burnie Burns, and Ryan P. Hall acting as producers alongside Fischbach.
For those interested, A Heist with Markiplier is hitting the YouTube Original feed on October 30 for free.
