In a short and sweet Instagram post, Ghostbusters 2020 has wrapped up filming. The post, which was put posted on October 18, showed the cast gathered around for a photo-op with producer Jason Reitman posting to Instagram. The caption read: “Wrapped! 68 days and still smiling #GB20”.
Ghostbusters 2020, which was under the alias of Rust City, started filming back in July. Even now, not much is public about the film with a few exceptions here and there.
Concepts such as the film following the descendants of the OG busters of ghosts and Paul Rudd playing the role of a school teacher.
The upcoming entry to Ghostbusters is being produced by Jason Reitman and directed by his father, Ivan Reitman, who had his hands on the original two Ghostbusters. This film may be a massive improvement to those who felt 2016’s team left a bad taste in their mouths.
The film is hitting theaters on July 10, 2020.
