Crime-of-the-week drama, McDonald & Dodds, is nabbing itself another season. Produced by Mammoth Screen, which is currently underway to launch BBC One’s and Netflix‘s The Serpent, as well as ITV’s The Singapore Grip.
The UK-based production company got the green light to continue McDonald & Dodds after the success of its two-episode first season, which drew the attention of 6.4 million viewers, according to Deadline, which broke the story. This next season will include three feature-length episodes.
Damien Timmer and Preethi Mavahalli will act as executive producers. Naturally, both Jason Watkins and Tala Gouveia will reprise their respective roles. Other than that, not much is public. There is currently no launch date.
