Ahead of its 100-year anniversary, which is happening 2023, Warner Brothers CEO Ann Sarnoff has revealed its new logo. The logo isn’t a far cry from its old one which has seen it through the ups and downs since its founding in 1923. On the upcoming anniversary Sarnoff had this to say.
“As we approached [sic] our centennial, we thought it was the right time to take a good look at our brand, what it stands for and the values it represents. We know that a strong brand gives us not just a roadmap but a sense of purpose. It puts our feelings of pride into words. And, it helps us communicate who we are to our employees, our creative and business partners, and our fans around the world.
The photo taken with Sarnoff and a tuxedo-wearing Bugs Bunny is only temporary. They will, in coming weeks, be repainting the water tower which saw over 500 employees flocking around during the reveal.
WarnerMedia is in for facinating time come the launch of HBO Max, its attempt at competing with the likes of Netflix and newcomer Disney+. HBO Max is launching May, 2020.
